Content Policy
Rules for material that members publish on SIARTEC, and how we remove material that breaks those rules. The news feed is separate: those headlines belong to the publishers and are covered by the copyright policy.
Last updated: October 2026
What you may publish
Member posts, listings, and art should be:
- Your own writing, research notes, artwork, or a clear description of a project.
- About science, art, technology, or the community around them.
- Lawful, and posted under an account you control.
- Respectful of other people. Disagreement is fine. Harassment is not.
What we do not allow
We reject or remove:
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18, or any sexualization of minors.
- Non-consensual sexual content, or sexual content posted to harass someone.
- Hate, targeted harassment, or credible threats.
- Graphic violence or gore posted for shock, and content that promotes self-harm.
- Spam, scams, impersonation, illegal goods or services, and malware or phishing.
- Terrorism, violent extremism, or instructions for an attack.
- Someone else’s private data (doxxing), including documents, addresses, or account access.
- Material that infringes copyright. Send those complaints through the DMCA page.
How moderation works
Before a member publication goes live, SIARTEC checks the text and images against the categories above. A clear violation is rejected and stays unpublished. After publication we can still remove a post, take it off Pulse and public listings, and suspend the account for a serious or repeated violation. We do not wait for a court order to enforce this policy.
Ask for a review
If your post was rejected or removed and you think that was a mistake, email info@SIARTEC.com from the account address. Include the title and the date. We aim to answer within 5 business days.
News from other sites
Headlines in the feed are not member posts. They come from public RSS and search results and link to the publisher. Removal requests for that material follow the copyright policy.
